Meet FAPA Member Anne Lucas, Author of Aging…Get Over It!

Anne Lucas
A private geriatric care manager, speaker, blogger, and author of Aging...Get Over It
Anne Lucas began her career in elder care in 1989 managing assisted living and memory care facilities. Later, as a private Geriatric Care Manager, she has dealt extensively with a full range of aging issues, including money shortages, psychological problems, legal wrangling, Alzheimer?s disease, and difficult deaths. As a member of the National Association of Aging Life Care Professionals and the American Society on Aging, Anne maintains a keen interest in aging issues. In addition to her new book, Aging?Get Over, she addresses those issues in a bi-monthly blog and in presentations in and around central Florida.
Anne now lives in Celebration – the town that Disney built – with her husband, Gene. One daughter and her family live right around the corner. Her older daughter and family remain on the other side of the country ? but not for too long, she hopes.
