Veronica Helen Hart created Uppity Woman Press to present her books which span a wide range of storytelling, dealing with danger, deceit, love, and survival in various genres. Her settings range from the Civil War to the future. She also works with other authors to prepare their material for publication under the Uppity Woman Press imprint, including her husband, Dr. Robert Hart?s work.

She currently serves as a Regional Director for the Florida Writers Association, President of the Ormond Writers League, member of Carrollton (GA) Creative Writers, Sisters in Crime, and facilitator for Daytona Fiction Writers and Daytona Area Writers.
