Meet new FAPA member Dr. Teddie Malangwasira
Dr. Teddie Malangwasira is the president & CEO of Malangwasira Leadership Consulting. He is proud to be a husband, father of four daughters, a Beta Phi scholar, researcher, and an award-winning leadership author holding a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Human Resource Development from Regent University.
Prior to his doctorate, Dr. Teddie Malangwasira spent time teaching and coaching in Malawi and the USA. He has over 25 years of teaching experience in addition to over 15 years of experience working with local and international organizations from Malawi, USA, and Europe. He has presented in various countries and institutions including University of Oxford, England; Regent University, USA; Barcelona, Spain; Las Vegas, USA; and Copenhagen, Denmark.
Dr. Teddie has authored three books: Leading in a diverse environment (2019), Leadership is not about race (2017), and An empirical comparative examination of school leadership behavior (2016). Further, he has authored an award-winning, peer reviewed journal article, “Demographic differences between a leader and follower tend to inhibit leader-follower exchange levels and job satisfaction”, published in the Journal of Organizational Culture, Communication and conflict (2013).
He focuses his research activities in the fields of leadership behavior, job satisfaction, quantitative research approaches to human resource development in the workplace, training program development, performance appraisal, self-directed learning, diversity, and school leadership behaviors.
