M.A. Appleby has a rich and varied background. Throughout her life, she has enjoyed working with people in several diverse environments; hairdresser, draftsman, ceramic and art studio owner, youth coordinator, Certified Landscape Designer -- all on her way to becoming an author, doing many of them simultaneously! Then life threw her a curve ball when her son suffered a traumatic brain injury. That didn't stop her from maintaining her hold on her 'sense of self' as she forged ahead as her son David's 24/7 caregiver. In fact, while he recovered, she wrote three fictional novels as her therapy. Her motto throughout this process: "have a sense of humor!"
