Aside from her skills as an all encompassing editor, what made me keep coming back was her flexibility with how we approached the edits each time. She doesn’t just read your entire work, she analyzes it down to the core: story, plot, structure, dialogue, pacing, etc. There is a lot that goes into a story, and she questioned all areas to ensure I had thought of everything. Since my comic book had a fair amount of panel art descriptions, those were also edited to improve scene changes and tight visuals. Rachel’s hands-on approach improved my story and improved my writing in the process. So much work went into making this story what I envisioned, and the back-and-forth discussion with Rachel allowed for the final product to shine. A job very well done. Thank you Rachel! ~ Mark Verma, author of Grain.
Rachel provided a very thoughtful editorial letter on my book outline. I highly recommend her services if you're in the market for a good developmental editor. ~ Joe Cleveland, author.
Rachel is a delight to work with. She is self-motivated, knows how to receive constructive feedback, and has a cheerful, positive personality. We will definitely be using her services in the future! ~ Sammy Smith, CEO of SPS Publishing
