All active FAPA members have the opportunity to apply to the IBPA 2020 Publishing University Scholarship Program.. This year’s event will be held in Redondo Beach, California April 3-4, 2020.
FAPA will be hosting two tables at the Jax Book Fest held on February 23, at the downtown Jacksonville Public Library. If you are a member of FAPA and live in Northeast Florida, you can market and sell your books at one of the FAPA tables.
FAPA will be presenting the Publishing 101 Track at the Writers Workshop for the Amelia Island Book Festival on February 15, on Amelia Island. FAPA will also host a table at the festival’s Author Expo on Saturday, February 16, where attendees can learn more about our organization.
OCLS and FAPA are pleased to announce a new joint program that will enable any FAPA President’s Book Award winner to submit an eBook through the library’s eBook lending platform, ePULP, and be added to the library’s catalog with an expedited review.

On October 9, 2018, Gateway High School in Kissimmee, Florida will be hosting a Local Author Showcase. It is estimated that 150-200 people will attend. You can reserve a spot by contacting Kevin Kersey at Gateway High School.
