The 2017 FAPA Annual Conference is scheduled for August 4th and 5th, 2017 in Orlando. This year we will be at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace.

The Full Conference Pass includes all activities during the two day conference except the FAPA President’s Book Awards Banquet. You must purchase a separate ticket for the banquet and awards ceremony which will be held Saturday night. If you can only come for one day, you can purchase a Single Day Pass for the conference.
The Full Conference Pass includes both days and is $345.00 for FAPA members and $395.00 for non-members. The Single Day Pass is $185.00 for FAPA members and $210.00 for non-members.
Join Us for the 2017 President’s Book Awards Banquet
Each year the Florida Authors and Publishers Association sponsors the FAPA President’s Book Awards, which recognizes book publishing excellence and creativity in design, content, and production for North American authors and publishers. Books by North American authors or publishers in 45 categories may be nominated. Librarians, book industry professionals, and educators from Florida and other states will judge content, theme, layout, and cover design elements.
FAPA awards one Gold Medal, up to two Silver Medals, and one Bronze Medal in each category. Winners are announced by email and listed on the FAPA website the first week of July. At the FAPA President’s Book Awards Banquet, medalists for each category will be honored. This year, the event will be held after the close of the close of the 2017 Annual Conference on Saturday August 5, 2017 at 7 PM.
