FAPA Conference Speaker Profile | Angelina Assanti

Angelina Assanti
#1 Bestselling, Award-winning Author & Cancer Survivor
Angelina Assanti?will be a panelist on the Publishing Dos and Don?ts Panel at the 2017 FAPA Annual Conference on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
Angelina has been writing all of her life but she never thought that?writing could be a viable career. In 2013, she released her first novel, “The Lottery Heiress” which is a humorous romantic comedy. Next, she wrote the prequel, “Mark Taylor’s Checkered Past.” She was writing the next book in that series in 2015 when she was diagnosed with cancer. As a comedy writer, Angelina felt that was the perfect time to use a sense of humor. Her non-fiction book based on her cancer journal, “Thank God I Got Cancer…I’m Not a Hypochondriac Anymore!” went on to win two national awards, one international award and went to #1 on Amazon.
Angelina is a great example of someone?putting their mind to something and getting it done. She has a degree in business and has no formal training in?writing. If she can do it, anyone can.?She loves to help?other writers (and would-be writers) by sharing her knowledge and encouragement
