
Jeffrey Blount, author of The Emancipation of Evan Walls, an award-winning book about the conflicts and struggles of a young black man, will be the featured author in the September “Author Series” hosted by the Florida Library Association. Blount is also an Emmy award-winning television director who during his 34-year career at NBC News directed a decade of Meet The Press, The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, and major special events.
